Milan M. Kordestani (born 1999)[1] is the CEO and Founder of Milan Farms and a Huffington Post writer, as well as a nationally competing equestrian. Kordestani is also the firstborn son of Omid Kordestani and Bita Daryabari. Residing in the Bay Area, California and graduating from Sacred Heart Preparatory in 2017, Kordestani now attends college.[2] Recognizable for his ranking of 3rd in the World Championship, 17 and Under Park Division, in 2015 and 2nd at the World Championship in the 5-Gaited Show Pleasure division in 2016, Kordestani is an accomplished equestrian. [3] In addition to his equestrian activities, Kordestani is a published author, writing for the Huffington Post in the fields of agriculture, mental health, and politics. [4]

Early Life

Milan Kordestani was born in Stanford, California and grew up there attending Phillips Brooks Elementary school. Kordestani and his family moved to London, England in 2009 after the divorce of his parents, then attending Eaton Square School. In 2010, Kordestani moved back to the Bay Area where he attended Sacred Heart Preparatory in Atherton and later graduated High school in 2017.

Career

Milan Kordestani is the CEO and Founder of Milan Farms, a writer for the Huffington Post, and a student in the San Francisco Bay Area. Kordestani established Milan Farms in early 2015 to begin his journey creating a humane and organic system to raise poultry and organically growing 100% pure saffron. Milan Farms is currently offering saffron, free range/organic eggs, and mint. Milan Farms aims to provide an honest option to the consumer, using transparency in raising their animals and only using organic options for their plants. Kordestani believes that when it comes to choosing a product, if the consumer knows exactly what they want, a pure and honest option should be readily available without any secrets as to how it was raised. This is the model Milan Farms operates on.
