Milivoj Barbaric

Milivoj Barbarić (Neštin near Novi Sad, Serbia, then part of Austria-Hungary, 15 October 1861 - Osijek, Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, 26 March 1925) was a well known Croatian Serb actor. As a traveling actor, he was a member of the National Drama Theatre in Zagreb since 1879. From 1884 to 1888, he acted in the Novi Sad theater, then was the leader of the acting troupe, and from 1892 an actor in Belgrade. From 1895 he was again engaged in the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb, until his retirement in 1917, and from 1920 he was a regular guest of the theater in Osijek. He played the character roles of a realistic repertoire.
