MindGym is a global behavioral science consultancy company.[1][2][3][4][5]
History[edit]
MindGym was founded in 2001 by Octavius Black CBE[6][7][5][8] and Sebastian Bailey Ph.D.[9][10][11][4] Baroness Ruby McGregor-Smith is the board chair of MindGym,[12] and Sir Trevor Phillips is a board member.[13][14][9][15]
In 2018, it was listed on the AIM,[7] valued at £145m.[16][17] Black and his wife Joanne Black, the company's chair,[15] made £24m between them, while Bailey made £22m in profit. The three retained a 64.6% stake.[16] In 2022, MindGym reported annual revenues of £48.7m.[15]
Following its launch on the AIM, MindGym released “Performa”,[10][18] a coaching platform, and acquired the intellectual property of 10x Psychology Limited, a company founded by Peter Saville.[19][20][11] In May 2023, MindGym hosted a CHRO Summit at the Royal Opera House, London,[21] with speakers including Dame Emma Walmsley, Baroness Martha Lane Fox,[22] Sir Trevor Phillips, and Matthew Syed.[23]
