Mindjammer - The Roleplaying Game is a role-playing game published by Mindjammer Press in 2014.[1] It is distributed by Modiphius Entertainment.[2]
History[edit]
Mindjammer Press released the tabletop role-playing game called Mindjammer - The Roleplaying Game by Sarah Newton (writer) using the Fate Core System in 2014.[3] The first adventure supplement for the game, Hearts and Minds, was published in 2015. In November 2015, Mindjammer Press ran a successful Kickstarter campaign which funded a massive expansion of the line. As of 2018, 10 new supplements have been published [4], as well as a version of the game for use with the Traveller roleplaying game.[5] Mindjammer - The Roleplaying Game won a Griffie Award at the Conpulsion RPG convention [6] and was a Golden Geek RPG of the Year Nominee in 2014.[7]
Background[edit]
Mindjammer - The Roleplaying Game is a far future transhuman science-fiction roleplaying game. It is set in a huge interstellar civilisation with extremely advanced technology, which is expanding from a core around Old Earth, to rediscover lost colonies settled slower-than-light in an ancient diaspora, and integrating those colonies into its own civilisation. Culture conflict is a major theme of the game.
