Luzmindo Fajardo is a Filipino footballer and former international player for the Philippines.
Early life and Education[edit]
Fajardo is born in Camp Keithley which is now currently located in Marawi in Lanao del Sur. He grew up in Manila and took up his high school and higher education studies in the capital. He graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Commerce and later took up his Masters degree in Industrial Management at the University of the Philippines.[1]
Fajardo first links with football was during his first year in high school when he began watching UST footballers. He would later play with the USt's senior side as a forward. His team won titles at the UAAP under coach Emilio Pacheco.[1]

Club career[edit]
In the past, Fajardo has played for the Huns FC, Guardia Real, and Club Filipino FC. Due to his links with the army as a personnel, he has also played for the Philippine Army F.C.. In the recent years he has been playing for the Blue Guards.[1]
International career[edit]
Fajardo had 5 caps for the Philippine national team as a center halfback and played against teams from Peru, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Most of these games were lopsided losses.[1]
Others[edit]
Fajardo served at the Philippine Army and retired as a colonel. After his retirement from the military he held management positions for Colgate-Palmolive, Union Carbide, and the Andres Soriano Corporation. He also served as strategic planning coordinator and management committee member at the Philippine Football Federation.[1] He was the delegation head for the Philippine squad at the 2002 Tiger Cup.[2]
Honors[edit]
In June 9, 2006, For his long and ongoing football career, the Philippine Football Federation and Lufthansa conferred him with a lifetime achievement award.
