She was born in 1968 in Istanbul. She completed her high school education at Kadıköy High School. In 1985, she got a Istanbul University the Department of Latin Language and Literature. She completed her undergraduate and graduate education in the same department.[1] She started working as a reporter in the newspaper Güneş in 1990. She worked in Tempo magazine and Yeniyüzyıl newspaper when the newspaper was closed. In 1993, She received an honorable mention in the category of News in the competition organized by the Journalists Association of Turkey. Between 1996 and 2000, she wrote the text of the television documentary "Reporter". She wrote articles in Öküz magazine between 1999-2001. Mine Söğüt, who left professional journalism between 2001 and 2005, was a volunteer editor of a local newspaper called Cihangir Postası.[2] She staged the story "When Flies Make Love" from her book "Crazy Women Stories".She has produced many works in the genre of novel, short story, research, biography, monograph and conversation. She became one of the fifteen most translated authors abroad.Since May 7, 2013, she has been writing her views on social and political events in the column "Uykusuz" in Cumhuriyet[3] newspaper, and preparing news and interviews for various magazines and newspapers.
