Minecraft Command System
Introduction
Minecraft has a command system, a set of text-based tools that allow for deeper editing of the game, rather than what is normally able to do. You can use them to do a variety of things, such as set the weather, summon in mobs, and give yourself items.[1]
History of Commands In Minecraft
Minecraft Commands were added first in 2011 before being soon after reintroduced. The next year, in 2012, they were added back along with the addition of Command Blocks. [2] More Commands have been added almost every update since.
List of Commands in Minecraft
/gamemode {mode} : Changes the gamemode of the game, the mode area replaced either Survival, Creative, Adventure, Spectator
/weather {weather} : Changes the weather of the Minecraft world to either Clear, Rain, or Thunderstorm
