Minepi Buddhism, also known as Minimal Epicurean Buddhism, uses the ideas of Neo-minimalism (philosophy), Epicureanism and Buddhism to explain the metaphysical and ontological nature of reality and to give insight to man's proper role and conduct in reality. It is difficult to determine the location and time of the origins of Minepi Buddhism as the religion did not have many followers. Also, central to Minepi Buddhism is the idea of egocentric truth; that is, that the nature of truth is such that individuals who obtain the truth will not reveal the truth to others. Its followers concentrate in California, Thailand, and some parts of China.
