The Mirrabooka Sovereign United Nations, initially known as Meanjin Senior Sovereigns, was formed in November 2017. The group represents Indigenous Peoples from various cultural backgrounds, including the Bidjigal Sovereign Elders of La Perouse, as well as the Bidjigal, Darug, Gweagal, and Woolangang [eoples.

Purpose[edit]

The specific goals, objectives, and activities of the Mirrabooka Sovereign United Nations includes advocating for Indigenous rights, self-determination, and sovereignty.
