Misagh Norouzi (born 26 September 1996) is an Iranian-born Australian Muay Thai kickboxer and author at Fightmag.[1].
Early career
Misagh Norouzi started Muay Thai in January 2015. He made his debut inside the ring already in three months, and recorded five bouts during the first year of training [2].
In his fifth bout in August 2015 he defeated, at that time, a two-time more experienced opponent, Jesse Woodhouse, and received the "Fighter of the Night" award [3].
In his sixth bout in March 2016 he went up against six-fight undefeated (at that time) John Morton at Thunderdome XIV [4], and won the fight by a unanimous decision, and was then expected to make a professional boxing debut [5].
Norouzi returned to Muay Thai two years later (in June 2018) and took on five-fight undefeated (at that time) Mitchell Walker [6] and won the fight scoring a unanimous decision [7]. On October 27, 2018 he fought on the main card at Domination Muay Thai 21 [8] and defeated Jamie Crane [9] by unanimous decision, and is expected to make an international debut in 2019 [10]
