Misagh Norouzi (born 26 September 1996) is an Iranian-born Australian Muay Thai kickboxer and author at Fightmag.[1].
Early career[edit]
Misagh Norouzi started Muay Thai in January 2015. He made his debut inside the ring already in three months, and recorded five bouts during the first year of training [2].
In his fifth bout in August 2015 he defeated, at that time, two-time more experienced opponent, Jesse Woodhouse, and received the "Fighter of the Night" award [3].
In his sixth bout in March 2016 he went up against six-fight undefeated (at that time) John Morton at Thunderdome XIV [4], and won the fight by a unanimous decision, and was then expected to make professional boxing debut [5].
Norouzi returned to Muay Thai two years later (in June 2018) and took on five-fight undefeated (at that time) Mitchell Walker [6] and won the fight scoring a unanimous decision [7]. On October 27, 2018 he fought on the main card at Domination Muay Thai 21 [8] and defeated Jamie Crane [9] by unanimous decision, and is expected to make international debut in 2019 [10]
