Miss Grand México is an annual beauty pageant in Mexico based in Mexicali, Baja California. The two winners of Miss Grand México obtain the right to represent the country in the Miss Grand International pageant and Miss Intercontinental pageant.[1]
History[edit]
The Miss Grand México pageant before to 2014 was called Rostro de México, the first pageant as Rostro de México was on 2009 and continuing until 2013 that the last event was held. The titleholder of Rostro de México participated in different beauty contests as Miss Intercontinental and Miss Tourism Queen International. After to 2014 The title Miss Grand México comes in the wake of the creation of the contest Miss Grand International based in Thailand, founded by Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil. However, the title of Rostro de México continues and the winner goes to Miss Intercontinental contest.
This event is part of the competition Rostro de México combines the excitement of a traditional beauty pageant with the awareness of the young participants about the problem that exists in the world that is violence. Additionally in the national competition awareness of the importance of the integration of deaf people into the labor market and social becomes. The first Miss Grand México Titleholder was elected by designation on 2013, after that a national pageant is performed.
The winners of the contest Miss Grand México and Rostro de México at presentation in international competition, will be able to project with its physical beauty (which is always important because it remains a beauty contest) and intelligence, the essence of Mexican women and the concern we have of the social problems that afflict us, achieving balance between the inner and outer beauty.
The finalists also obtains the right to represent the country in another International Pageants as Miss Intercontinental, Miss Fredoom of the World, Miss Tourism Queen International, Miss Global International, Miss Caraïbes Hibiscus, Top Model of the World, Miss Global Beauty Queen and Miss Humanity International.
Each year, our representatives reflect the teamwork that has long made the members of the national committee and state coordinators who are those who truly make it possible for candidates dreams come true.
