Miss Universe Philippines 2021 will be the 2nd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines pageant.[1] Rabiya Mateo of Iloilo City will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Selection of participants[edit]
On May 14, 2021, the organization has launched its search for the next Filipina who will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2021 competition.[2][3] Height requirement was also abolished for this year's edition.[4] On July 14, 2021, the Miss Universe Philippines Organization announced the new format for selection of official candidates for its 2021 edition.[5]
The new format for this edition begins with virtual interviews for the applicants and they will be filtered to Top 100. The hundred ladies will be narrowed to a Top 75 and then a Top 50 through online voting via the Miss Universe Philippines App and the judges. The Top 50 delegates who were selected will then go to Manila for a live Interview Challenge with the Miss Universe Philippines board of judges. The final cut of 30 candidates will be chosen and announced on August 31. The pageant is set to held on September 25, 2021.[6]
