Missy Doty (born August 9, 1972) is an American actress. She grew up in Springdale, Ohio and graduated from Princeton High School in 1990.[1] She also attended Stephens College, where she received a BFA in Musical Theater.[2]

Pursuing a career in acting throughout the 1990s, Doty began playing several minor roles in a number of television programs such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Ally McBeal.

Doty is probably best known for her performance in the comedy/drama film Sideways (2004), playing the minor, yet memorable role of Cammi, the waitress with whom Jack has sex before getting caught by her husband.

In 2010, she appeared in an episode of the CBS sitcom Rules of Engagement.

Doty has a recurring role as Jess, a lesbian bartender at The Alibi Room on the Showtime series Shameless.[3]

In 2013, Doty played Noel (the ex-girlfriend of the main character David) in the critically acclaimed film Nebraska (2013).
