Mistplay is a loyalty rewards company for mobile games.[1] Using the Mistplay Android application, users can discover mobile games and earn rewards for playing them.[2] Mistplay was founded in 2016 by Henri-Charles Machalani and Eugene Joannides.[3] Recently, the company has been recognized for its fast growth. As ofJanuary 2021, Mistplay has been downloaded over 10 million times from the Google Play Store and paid out almost 12.5 million dollars in rewards.[4][5] The company plans to launch on iOS in the future.[6]

Mistplay users can choose which mobile games they would like to install from a selection of offers. As users play the games they've downloaded through Mistplay, they earn in-app currency which can be redeemed for digital gift cards.[7][8] Players can also talk about games through in-app chatrooms and enter contests.[9]

The Mistplay application serves as a platform through which mobile game developers can advertise their game to potential users. Game developers can target which users are presented with their games using demographic user data such as age group, gender, device info, and gaming interests. Game developers can also take advantage of Mistplay's machine learning system to automatically recommend games to potential users. In 2020, Mistplay introduced a loyalty program which allows users to earn in-app currency on in-game purchases.[10]
