This is an overview list of mixed languages formed by mixture with Nepali language. Mixed language are linguistic varieties which may differ in pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar.

Mixed Nepali can be defined as "mixture of native language with Nepali language which are, in general. ". Nepali speakers of different linguistic background and regions use a variety of different accents (systems of pronunciation), as well as various nativized words and grammatical constructions; many different Mixed Nepali can be identified based on these factors. Mixed Nepali can be classified at broader or narrower levels: within a broad national or regional. The combination of differences in pronunciation and use of local words may make some Nepali almost unintelligible to speakers from other regions.

Overview[edit]

Nepali is the lingua franca of Nepal and the only official language till date. The process of Khas-ization in Nepal had imposed Nepali language on all people of Nepal. The educational system has Nepali and English as the only medium of instruction. Therefore in non-native communities, Nepali is mixed with their own native language to a fair or far extent.
