Model Combat
Model Combat is an unproduced screenplay by Kelcey Coe released June 19, 2014. It features attractive female models fighting to the death to prove they're the best. It is available for sale on Amazon.com, CreateSpace, and where books are sold.
Description
By force of his wife, crazed assassin Russell Brown holds a deadly tournament forcing models to compete to the death so they won't get in the way of his wife becoming the next top model.[1]
Book Features
The screenplay's cover features several models from many top brands: Sports Illustrated, Maxim, FHM, Seventeen, Playboy, Hustler, Vivid Entertainment, Athlon Sports, & Inked.com.[2]
In addition to the screenplay itself, the book also contained profiles for all 22 models, color photos, an author's analysis, and a cheat sheet to find a fight or fatality quickly throughout the screenplay.[3]
Controversy
During its initial trial run release, the book ran into several issues regarding its perceived content. First, the cover of the book features two scantily-clad females covered in oil engaged in brutal combat – the blonde is stabbing the brunette. The expression on their faces as well as the stylized violence has led many to believe this was an adult film. Second, the screenplay contains explicit dialogue and action scenes that test audiences indicated could be a cause for concern. While screenplays can appear explicit, it is also noteworthy that many of these scenes will likely be filmed with implied action and cutaways. Still, after continued concerns were raised about the content, the book was given an explicit content warning on its cover.
The original cover was subject to extreme scrutiny with the tagline, "It's more than just bitches fucking and fighting," leaving many to believe this was also an adult film. The author expressed the meaning of the tagline was to explain while the screenplay may have a lot of sex and fight scenes, there was also a story behind it all.
