Modeling and its application
What is a model and what is its use? Modeling or molding is used to train and display a specific organ of the body of living beings and humans. This device is used in the field of medicine and therapy and is used to explain the anatomy of a body part. Some of these models can simulate injuries to the body.
These teaching aids are made of unbreakable plastic or PVC. In the past, wax or latex was used to make them. Wax specimens were made in Naples in the late 7th century. In the late 19th century, more than 2,000 models were built by Georges Bartha in a hospital in Paris. Since then, these products have been used for medical education.
The color of the models is very important and it is best when it is similar to the color of reality. The quality of the colors used is very important and it is better to use lead-free and fixed colors.
Applications and uses Each of these models is used in a specific field. But most of them can be found in equipped laboratories and medical centers. In anatomy, medicine, midwifery, dentistry, botany and zoology, these models are used for teaching.
Some models, such as heart modeling, are used in related clinics such as cardiovascular medicine. Human skeleton modeling and dental modeling are the most common models seen in laboratories and offices. By placing models in their office, physicians can familiarize patients with the anatomy and damage to the target organ. Some models are also designed to represent body systems such as the nervous system, the gastrointestinal tract, the circulatory system, and so on.
Models are often produced in three ways: standing, which is the most common form of models and in the form of a bust or full figure, a desktop model that can be used on a table, and a wall model that is easily mounted on the wall by a hook. Models that are produced in normal sizes are mostly used.
