Mohamed Ali Hilal is UAE based pilot, serial entrepreneur and the founder of Hind Al Oud.[1][2][3][4]

Personal life[edit]

Mohamed Ali Hilal was born in January, 1975. He has three sisters and two brothers. He is married and has two children.[1][5][6][7]

Career[edit]

Hilal studied aviation in the U.S.A and returned home to start a career as an Emirates Airlines pilot. He served from 2000-2005. However, after the first few years he did not find the challenge enough for him and opted to explore the daily risks of businesses.[8][9]

Mohamed’s obsession with perfumery led him to the niche. He decided to quit his job as a Pilot and pursue his passion for perfumery. It was a tough decision with everyone against him. He started Hind Al Oud as his first successful attempt in 2001.[10][11][12][13]

Hind Al Oud becam a notable company when it was awarded by the Economic Department of Dubai in 2004. The company entered into an agreement with Paris Gallery where the it was further established. Hind Al Oud broke a record by achieving the all time top figure among perfumes and cosmetics houses, such as DIOR and CHANEL in Paris Gallery’s history.[14][15][16]

In 2005, Hilal developed Anfasic Dokhoon and opened its first store in April, 2007. The brand was focused on spreading Arabic culture via perfumes.[17][18]

In 2012, he opened the Milas Restaurant, while in early 2014, the group acquired 3rd Avenue Café in Dubai Mall, which had been a success due to its combination foods, sweet and desserts, and a view of the Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa.[19]
