Mohammad Amanullah (born 21 January 1996 in Siwan, Bihar) is an Indian Entrepreneur & Engineer.[1][2]
Early life
Mohammad Amanullah was born in Siwan, Bihar on 21st January 1996[3] and brought up by Akhter Hussain and Jalal Akhtari in Siwan, raised in a middle class family. He earned his Bachelor of Technology Degree in information technology from Birla Institute of Technology(BIT),Mesra.[4][5]
Career
In 2017, he co-founded Medishala[6] along with Suman Saurav, Rituraj Swamy and Prince Kumar[7], which connects rural patients to doctors.[8][9][10]In 2019, he joined Campus Varta as a Chief Technology Officer & Director, a Bihar based ed-tech startup which aims to connect rural students to the digital world, and has been serving till now along with Ranjan Mistry[11], Founder of Campus Varta.[12] In 2020, he also joined as a board member of Womenia Technology Private Limited which has several subsidiary brands like Womenia Story[13], Ridek[14] and so on along with Juhi Smita, Ranjan Mistry[15] and Sanjay Chakravarti.[16] In 2020, Mohammad Amanullah co-founded Women School of Entrepreneurship[17] to fuel entrepreneurial spirit into last mile girls & women, and reimagine entrepreneurship education along with Deepti Kiran, Ranjan Mistry and Juhi Smita.[18][19]
Award & Recognitions
Mohammad Amanullah has been featured in several leading newspapers and has been invited on CNBC Young Turks.[20] His Medishala team was the winner of Bihar Ideathon in 2017 organised by JDU Industry Cell.[21][22]
