Mohammad Reza Mesbah (Persian: محمدرضا مصباح ‎; born 1975) is an Iranian producer, director, and screenwriter.

Career[edit]

Mohammad Reza Mesbah holds a PhD, in private law. He started his educational, cultural and artistic activities in 1996 with screenwriting and teaching cinema. In 2012, he was recognized as the executive producer and the investor of the first series of Iranian Rally directed by Arash Moayerian. He produced Bermuda, Pilot, Dubland, Cinema Shahr-e-Ghese, and Skin in Iran.[1]

Mesbah participated in the 38th Fajr Film Festival in 2019 with the production of two movies, Cinema Shahr-e-Ghese directed by Keyvan Alimohammadi and Aliakbar Heydari, and Skin directed by Bahman and Bahram Ark. The films were nominated in 11 categories, and two Crystal Simorghs won "Best Film" and Best "Film Music" for Skin at the 38th Fajr Film Festival.

Mohammad Reza Mesbah also with directing short film The Alley was nominated for the Crystal Simorgh for Best Short Film at the 38th Fajr Film Festival.
