Early Life[edit]
Ridoy was born in Magura district. His father is a businessman and his mother is a housewife. He has a younger brother
He started his education at Government Primary School No. 1, Magura. Then as a student in the humanities department at Magura A.G. Academy. He passed Secondary (SSC) from Academy School and Higher Secondary (HSC) from Siddheswari University College, Dhaka. Later he was admitted to Siddheswari University College with honors (currently a 2nd year student).
Career[edit]
Stand-Up Comedy[edit]
From an early age, Ridoy used to try to entertain his friends by presenting jokes. In 2015, he took part in the first comedy show on "Khude Roshik Raaj" program aired on Bangla Vision TV Channel. Then on NTV's "Amra Sobai Raja", Boishakhi TV's "Koutuk Baaz" "Jadur Sahor", ATN Bangla's "Aha Ki Ananda" participated in the program. Later in 2019, he participated in Ha-Show, the only comedy reality show in Bangladesh aired on NTV. He took part in a total of 14 episodes of the show and won first place in two of them individually and collectively. In April 2020, he took 5th place in Ha-Show Season 5.
YouTubing[edit]
In addition to comedy, he is regularly performing on his own YouTube channel "Roshik Dude". There he made videos on contemporary issues that occur through social inconsistencies and social media.
At present, his channel has about 3.20 lakh subscribers.
Publications[edit]
In the 2016 Ekushey Book Fair, Mirakkel Akkel Challengers Season 6 Champion Abu Hena Rony's book titled School of Comedy named his name among the notable stand-up comedians of Bangladesh.
A three-page feature about him was published in the book titled Six Figure Silver Tuber by Zafar Hossain Jafi at the Ekushey Book Fair in 2019.
