Mohammad ali ahangaran
Mohammad Ali Ahangaran (born July 9, 1981) is a religious scholar and Iranian politician from Ahvaz. He is the eldest son of Sadegh Ahangaran, the famous panegyrist of the Holy Defense.[1]
Education
After graduating from high school, he completed seminary courses at Shahid Motahari High school and he did all his academic education and his Ph.D. in International Law at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland.
Biography
He married in 2004 and has a daughter named Maryam from his marriage.[2]
After his graduation in 2014, he became MOAMAM by Seyed Mohammad Khatami and the pictures of these two together were taken into consideration by the media.
In recent years, his name has been more well-known in terms of his stances and writings.
Although there is a deep emotional relationship between him and his father, their political views are very different. He has a ESLAHTALAB (reformist party) orientation while his father has a OSOLGRA (conservative party) attitude.
His continued and day-to-day activities in real and cyberspace during the parliamentary elections of 2015 as well as the presidential election in 2017 made him one of the most influential people in the party so-called Reformist.[3]
His father in 2017 in the presence of the leader of the Republic of Iran read a poem with the sense of innocence of his son.
His challenging speeches in different cities and universities across the country on the one hand and his Instagram’s activities and lives, on the other hand introduced him to Iranian young people.
Cultural activities and presence in the artistic circles and his support for cinema, theater, books, and visual arts are other reasons for the popularity of this young cleric. He was also chosen as a referee in the review section at the 36th Fajr Theater Festival.
Because of his popularity among the artists, he was asked to pray in the funeral of Nasese Malek Motie.
Collecting aid for the victims of the earthquake in Kermanshah and Kohbanan (Kerman) and his serious and continued efforts for helping earthquake survivors even after that is considerable.[4]
He is now engaged in research and teaching besides being a legal advisor.
