Mohammed Jibrin
Muhammad Jibrin (Dan Barde), a son of Gombe State, is a well-known businessman who rose through the ranks of Nigeria's complex banking sector to become the Managing Director of SunTrust Bank. He had no desire to get involved in politics.[1]

Muhammad Jibrin graduated from the University of Abuja with a Bachelor's degree in Economics.[2]
Career[edit]
Jibrin Dan Barde was a former GMD of Sun Trust Bank and currently the PDP governorship candidate of Gombe State.[3]
Politics[edit]
The current Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Yahaya defeated Barde, the first runner-up in the 2018 All Progressives Congress primary, and Barde afterwards switched parties to join the PDP.[4]
