Mohini is a 1995 Indian Hindi language thriller that premiered in Zee Cinema. The film was directed by Hema Maliniand starred her niece Madhoo. The film stars Sudhesh Berry as a disfigured professor who meets and marries a mysterious woman. He later suspects that his wife might be a vampire. This is remake of the 1968 Malayalam film Yakshi.

Professor Shrikanth (Sudesh Berry) teaches chemistry in a reputed institution. He is an handsome and attractive young man and many women, including his students, find him so.
Tragedy strikes one day when Shrikanth's face is accidentally sprayed with acid. He is rushed to hospital in severe pain. He is treated, and does recover subsequently, only to find that half of his face is disfigured.
When Shrikanth attempts to return to work, he finds that not only women, but men as well are openly horrified at his disfigurement, and avoid him. He becomes a recluse, reading books on the occult, vampires, and ghouls.
One day he meets with an attractive young woman, Ragini (Madhoo)who claims she is lost. He assists her, and they both get very friendly. They meet again and both fall in love with each other. Subsequently, they get married, and Ragini moves in with him.
Shortly after their marriage, Shrikanth starts to notice that Ragini is not an ordinary woman, she possesses some magical powers; his dog is terrified of her; and she remains oblivious to his disfigurement.
Shrikanth does some research and finds out that Ragini may be a vampiress, out to drain him of his blood, by having sexual contact with him. Trapped, with no one to believe him, Shrikanth starts losing his mind, displays strong signs of paranoia. He has not permitted his wife to touch him, leave alone have sexual contact.
His fear reaches new heights when he tries to kill Ragini, and has to be subdued and taken to an mental institution. After his discharge, he returns home to confront Ragini, and it is then that he learns who she really is.
