Mojtaba Yadegari Persian: مجتبی یادگاری دونده; (born March 31, 1991) is an Iranian long-distance runner and peace activist. He is known for running across all 31 provinces of Iran to promote humanitarian values and peace. He has been recognized by the Iranian Red Crescent Society and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
Early life
Yadegari began running when he was nine years old. Over time, he turned his passion into a tool for promoting unity and humanitarian goals in Iran.
Career and humanitarian work
Yadegari has run more than 3,000 kilometers across Iran in campaigns for peace and awareness. In 2019, he completed a 17-day journey through Iranian provinces to raise awareness about humanitarian issues.
He works with the Iranian Red Crescent Society and was named a peace ambassador. His activities support the goals of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
