Molluscophobia

Molluscophobia is the fear of members of the mollusk family, such as slugs and snails. Like many other phobias, molluscophobia is seen as an irrational and/or ridiculous fear, due to snails and slugs being harmless to humans (Homo sapiens).

Symptoms of molluscophobia

Symptoms of molluscophobia include but are not limited to

• Being disgusted by snails or slugs.
• Not wanting to go outside after rain.
• Panicking upon seeing a snail or slug. (This often include heavy breathing, crying etc.)
