The TED talk was produced by philanthropic organization the Minderoo Foundation and became the most viewed TED talk of 2021[2].

Wright made her screen debut as lead Aria in the Sepia Films/Steve Jaggi Company film Kidnapped[3], which aired on Netflix Australia in 2021.

The talk, entitled Thrive by Five, was produced by the Minderoo Foundation, and discussed the importance of play in early childhood development. It amassed over 9 million views on TED's website[8], making it the most viewed TED talk of 2021[9][10], and received over 44 million views across all social media channels[11].

Growing up in tropical Queensland, Molly has spent time raising awareness and funds for various wildlife conservation institutions, including Currumbin Wildlife Hospital. In 2021, Molly led a group of fellow children to raise over $23,000[16] for the Wildlife Hospital, under the banner "Molly's Wildlife Warriors."
