Molly Carney (born May 15, 2002) is an American softball right-handed pitcher. She will play for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish softball team starting in 2021.
Early Years
Carney attended Howell High School in Howell, Michigan.[1] Carney led Howell to the state championship in 2019.[2] On April 10, 2019, Carney pitched a no-hitter against Brighton. She struck out 15 batters and walked only 2. [3]
Notre Dame
On November 20, 2018, Carney committed to Notre Dame over schools from the Big Ten, ACC, and MAC to play softball.[4] She will begin her career starting in 2021.
