Molly Chesworth (born 3 June 1994) is a British actor.[1]

Early life[edit]

Chesworth was born in Kingston upon Thames, in the county of Surrey in England. She is the daughter of Tanya Chesworth, and singer-songwriter Peter Bruntnell.[2] She studied acting at the Oxford School of Drama.[3]

Career[edit]

After graduating, Chesworth was cast as Anne Faulkner in Strangers on a Train at the summer festival in Frinton-on-Sea, and went on to star as "Josie" in the 2018 UK Tour of Snapdragon Productions' Teddy. She received positive reviews for this portrayal.[4]

Chesworth made her on-screen debut in Call the Midwife in 2019[5] in an episode highly praised for highlighting a woman's right to autonomy over her body and the need for safe and legal abortions[6].
