Molly Preston is an American film editor, producer and director best known for editing and producing Evolution of Evil (2018), editing David Cross: Oh Come On (2019), directing Freedom, Wisconsin, and producing The Brain That Wouldn't Die.[1][2]

Personal life[edit]

Preston grew up in New Jersey. She lived in Wisconsin for nearly a decade, graduating from Lawrence University in 2010, and moving to Portland, Oregon.[1][2] She is married to Kevin Forrest.[3]

Career[edit]

In 2019, Preston edited David Cross: Oh Come On.[4] In 2020, she produced The Brain That Wouldn't Die, a remake to a 1962 film of the same name.[5][6] The film went on to screen at Screamfest Horror Film Festival.[7]

Preston returned to Appleton, Wisconsin in 2021 to film her debut feature film Freedom, Wisconsin.[3][1] The script originated 10 years prior when she lived in the area.[8]
