Moment is a botanical adaptogenic drink containing no GMOs, zero sugar, and is caffeine-free. Their line of canned beverages contains from 5-20 calories.[1] Adaptogenic drinks are a more natural way to help manage stress levels, fatigue, brain fog, poor sleep, and have many other benefits. Each adaptogen has a different way it can be beneficial, basically reducing the way stress hormones are released in your body. Moment features ingredients like, l-theanine, ashwagandha, apple cider vinegar, natural sweeteners, and other mood-boosting ingredients.

Founded in 2020 by Aisha Chottani and Faheem Kajee, a husband and wife duo.[2] Chottani has a background from Harvard University and Mckinsey, which is where she and Kajee met. The idea for Moment was born in the offices of McKinsey. Chottani described working long, intense hours and searching for some relief. When everything she went to grab was sugary or caffeinated it just made her feel worse - so she decided to switch to adaptogens and meditation. Her ability to concentrate and be creative made her feel like a different person. She noticed a major shift in her mental health and knew that the beverage industry was missing the mark.[3]

In May of 2020, the first line of beverages launched with 3 flavors - Tulsi Lemon, Hibiscus Dragon Fruit, and Rooibos Blood Orange. Also in June 2020 they appeared in the BevNet showdown and became the beverage showdown 19 champions.[4] After that, the founders were noticed by the business reality television show - Shark Tank. The duo appeared on Season 12, Episode 6, approaching the sharks for $200,000 for 10% of their business. And although they liked the product, ultimately all four of them were out.[5]

The story of Moment doesn't end there, Chottani and Faheem went on to expand their company. Launching over 10 different flavors and counting. Moment has been noticed by numerous elite media companies including Forbes,[6] Glamour,[7] Pop Sugar,[8] and The New York Times.[9] They've also partnered with iconic brands like Victoria's Secret PINK and lululemon to create their own flavors.
