Monat
Introduction[edit]
Monat is a "network marketing" or "direct sales" company that sells hair and skin care products. The company is commonly known as an "mlm" (multi level marketing company) on the internet. It's a common target for the r/antimlm Reddit community, for allegedly making the users hair fall out, putting a lot of it's "distributers" in debt, and/or being an "illegal pyramid scheme."
It was founded in 2014, and has recently been the recipient of criticism, and now lawsuits for allegedly making users hair fall out as previously stated. They've been sued multiple times in the past, and are still fighting lawsuits to this day.
