Moner Bondhu is a mental health care platform based in Bangladesh.[1] The organization works to raise mental health awareness through workshop, counseling and mass campaigns.[2] In 2021, the social media platform Facebook partnered with the organization to improve its mental health-related support in the country.[3] [4]

Moner Bondhu was started in 2016 by Towhida Shiropa, a mental healthcare worker in Bangladesh.[5] Since its inception, the organization supported 31,000 people through their in-person and online counseling services.[6] In 2021, Towhida was the first runner-up of the 'Asia-Pacific WEPs Awards' in the Youth Leadership Category organized UN Women.[7][8]
