The track was first previewed on February 13, 2021 via Taz Taylor’s Instagram live and later leaked in its entirety on May 30, 2021.
Commercial performance
We Love You Tecca 2 debuted at number ten on the US Billboard 200 with 30,000 sales in its first week (including 1,000 pure album sales) in its first week.[1] In its second week, the album dropped to number sixteen on the chart. It is Lil Tecca's third US top-ten album.
Music video
The track later made an official release on July 23, 2021 alongside a Cole Bennett-directed music video.
