Mont Marte
Mont Marte is an international art supplies company. The company manufactures a range of art materials including paint supplies, drawing and sculpting materials and craft supplies. Their head office is situated in Brisbane, Australia and locally employs over 50 people.[1]
History:
Mont Marte was founded in August 2002[2] by Bob Kent, Carol Kent and Cheyne Kent, who at the time were running a hardware wholesale business.[3] In 2003, Mont Marte registered the business name Mont Marte International PTY Ltd and registered the Mont Marte trademark.[4] In 2009, Mont Marte formed a joint venture company with product manufacturers in Northern China[5] A year later, Mont Marte registered Mont Marte Global Logistics (Aust) Pty Limited in preparation for global distribution.[6]
In January 2019, Mont Marte rebranded with Hans Hulsbosch's agency Hulsbosch and released their new rebranding at International Trade Fair Creative world in Frankfurt.[7][8] The rebrand included a new black monochrome logo and the brand's tagline "I Can Create!".[9]
The company's factory in Northern China is 20 hectares, employing 800 people and produces over 20,000 tonnes of paint a year.[3]
