Monte Plata solar plant

In March 2016, the 33.4MW Monte Plata solar plant came online, the largest solar farm in the Caribbean. The farm consists of 132,000 photovoltaic panels and a proposed second phase consisiting of 270,000 photovoltaic panels would double the size of the plant to 69MW.[1]
