Search Morgan's Relative on Amazon.Morgan's Relative (Armenian: Մորգանի խնամին) is a 1970 Soviet comedy film directed by Arman Manaryan, based on the play of the same name by Alexander Shirvanzade.[1] The film is about a millionaire named Mintoev who goes bankrupt and dreams of being related to the family of the American banker, J.P. Morgan.[2]
Plot[edit]
The once rich Mintoev goes bankrupt, appearing in Paris after the revolution, among other Armenian emigrants.[3] Mintoev's son, George, not receiving money from him, deceives his father that he will soon marry the daughter of J.P. Morgan's sister.[4]
