Morgan Connor Hudson (born 6 August 2001), better known as Morgz, is an English YouTuber known for his vlogs and pranks involving his family.
Early life
Morgan Connor Hudson was born on 6 August 2001, in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. His mother, Jill Hudson, is also a popular YouTuber who appears in his videos as "Morgz Mum".[1][2][3]
Career
Morgz started his YouTube channel in 2014, playing games such as FIFA and Fortnite. He later switched his content into stunts and pranks on his family and girlfriend, primarily appealing to a younger audience.[1]
In 2018, Morgz was kicked out of the Meadowhall shopping centre during a meet-and-greet at his pop-up shop after too many fans showed up, leading to health and safety hazards.[4] In 2019, he went under fire for promoting the gambling website Mystery Brand to children, disguising it as a game.[5] Later that year, Morgz announced MorgzFest, an outdoor festival occurring at the former Don Valley Stadium in his hometown of Sheffield, capitalizing on the success of his previous live tour with his mother.[1][6] It featured live performances from Morgz and his mother, along with "the world's largest inflatable assault course".[7][8][9]
In 2020, Morgz signed with A3 Artists Agency.[10] During the COVID-19 pandemic, he sold Morgz-branded face masks and donated the profits from the merchandise to the National Health Service.[11]
