Morgan Mae Maly (born January 25, 2002) is an American professional basketball player for the Chicago Sky. She played college basketball for the Creighton Bluejays, where she was a three-time first-team All-Big East selection and finished her career second in program history in scoring. Early life
Maly grew up in Crete, Nebraska, and attended Crete High School. As a senior, she averaged 19.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.9 steals per game and was named the 2019–20 Gatorade Nebraska Girls Basketball Player of the Year.[1] She was also named Nebraska Miss Basketball and finished her high school career with school records of 1,756 points and 759 rebounds.[2]
College career
Maly played five seasons at Creighton University from 2020 to 2025. As a sophomore in 2021–22, she was named the Big East Sixth Woman of the Year after averaging 12.3 points per game and making 80 three-point field goals.[2] Creighton reached the 2022 NCAA tournament Elite Eight, the first regional final appearance in program history.
Maly moved into the starting lineup as a junior and was named first-team All-Big East in each of her final three seasons.[3] She averaged a career-high 17.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game during the 2024–25 season while shooting 42.7 percent from three-point range.[4]

Connecticut Sun
After going undrafted in the 2025 WNBA draft, Maly signed a training camp contract with the Connecticut Sun on April 21, 2025.[4] She was waived on April 26.[6]

Maly signed a training camp contract with the Phoenix Mercury on April 12, 2026.[7] She appeared in Phoenix's preseason before being waived on May 4.[8]
