Morlyfe
Morlyfe is an American rapper, hip-hop artist, singer, song-writer, and producer. Known for his melodic and catchy music, Morlyfe started his rap career just free-styling over his friends beats. Through combining his melodic hooks with the energy of an alternative song, Morlyfe has been able to develop his unique style.
Biography[edit]
Originally from Sacramento, California, Morlyfe grew up in a traditonally African household. As a result, growing up listening to a wide variety of types of music has helped him create the sound he is known for today. However, while also citing American bands and rappers such as Fall Out Boy and Future as major influences, Morlyfe’s sound seems to be something that will be remembered during the 2020s.
Career[edit]
With a modern and abstract view of music, Morlyfe began making songs in 2020 with just his friends. What started out as freestyles became something more and in 2022, Morlyfe dropped his debut song Angel which showcased his diversity. Even though Morlyfe has been making music since 2020, it wasnt until 2021, that he began to take his music career seriously. After moving from Sacramento to San Diego for college, Morlyfe began to use the new change of scenery to start a career of some sort.
