The National Super Cup (Arabic: كأس السوبر الوطني‎) or Gil Cup is the old version of the Moroccan Super Cup was a one-match football tournament that was held at the end of each season between the Moroccan League champion and the runner-up.

History[edit]

The National Super Cup or The Moroccan Premier Cup, was also called Gil Cup and Djebari Cup. The first version of this cup was played in the 1939–1940 season, and it played for eight seasons, then it stopped in the 1954–1955 season. Wydad AC is considered the most winning with 7 Cups.

To return again during the 1958–1959 season under the name of Moroccan Super Cup, and played six seasons, and ASFAR is considered the most successful club in this cup in its new version with 4 Cups.[1]
