Morphogram in Clinical Nutrition

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Morphogram in clinical nutrition is based on the anthropometric procedure.[1] and provides a clinical and metabolic picture of the patient through the use of 10 measurements (8 body circumferences[2], height and weight[3]), self-measured and can also be sent electronically to the nutritionist, without direct interaction with the patient. Anthropometry, due to its absence of invasiveness, simplicity of execution, portability, low cost and availability of reference values, is by right the most useful technique[4] in evaluating nutritional status[5]
