Morrison Twesigye Rwakakamba is a Ugandan public administrator, economist, businessman and farmer .[1][2] Currently he serves as the Chairman of Uganda Investment Authority since May 2021.[3]
Early life and education[edit]
He graduated from Makerere University with a Bachelor of Education in Economics & History (2003) and a Master in International Relations & Diplomatic Studies (2006).[4][5] He holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University (2016).[6][7]
Career[edit]
In 2004, Rwakakamba joined Uganda National Farmers Federation (UNFFE) as a Research Associate and rose through ranks to become a Resident Consultant and Manager for Policy Research and Advocacy in 2007.[3] He has served in various organizations and positions such as a chief executive officer at Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2007-2010), as a Country Program Manager at Twaweza East Africa (2010-2013), as a Special Presidential Assistant at Office of the President (2012-2016),[8] as a chief executive officer for Agency for Transformation (2016-2016), as a Country Director for Bridge International Academies (2013-2017) as a Global Senior Director of Policy at Fenix International (2019-2020) and in May he was appointed as the chairman for Uganda Investment Authority.[4][5]

He has published the finding of his research on Effectiveness of Uganda's Environmental Policies in International Journal and other peer publications.[9]
