Mosab Al Khateeb (Arabic: مصعب الخطيب‎) is a Jordanian singer and composer who is credited with spreading Bedouin music. He has produced several songs, including "My Current Situation, Singleness" and "Dream of a Lifetime" as well as cover songs. He also represented Jordan in multicultural events around the world, most notably the Star Academy program. It is also famous in different cities of other Arab countries.

Al-Khateeb is one of the songs of Jordanian artists who have their voice in the Arab world after participating in amateur programs and the first to produce his own. This became the basis of artists in Jordan who encouraged them to produce their own songs after they had already had a tradition of singing patriotic songs and covers of old songs.[1][2] He also mastered all dialects before appearing for the first time to the Arab public in late 2013, and he is known for having composed all of his songs so far, except for some very few songs in which he used other composers.

Early life[edit]

He was born in the city of Salt in 1988. He grew up and studied primary school there, after which he completed his university studies in the Department of Business Administration. He began his artistic hobby since he was a child. He was influenced by singing from a young age. His artistic beginnings were in school activities and among friends, and he began at the age of nine by singing and participating in social events. He is also one of the most prominent voices that topped the scene during his participation in the Star Academy program due to the vocal quality that distinguished him. Through the musical works that he presented, he achieved positive feedback, especially from critics and musicians, to be the focus of everyone’s attention, and he achieved distinguished success, whether on the local or Arab level. .
