Moshimo is a sushi restaurant based in Brighton, UK. When it launched in 2010, it was the first conveyor-belt sushi restaurant in the UK.[1] The restaurant focuses on sustainable dining and does not serve fish from the Marine Conservation Society's "fish to avoid" list.[2]
Moshimo also runs FishLove - a campaign focused on promoting sustainable fishing methods and protecting endangered species. It has worked with celebrities such as Helena Bonham-Carter and Emilia Fox.[3][4]
In addition, Moshimo has been known to champion vegan food and dining. It runs a weekly vegan day every Wednesday[5] and also holds a PETA Proggy Award for its approaches to plant-based dining.[6] Moshimo also champions gluten-free dining, serving gluten-free options and offering gluten-free soy sauce.[7]
