Mr.Saturday[1] is a 2015 Malayalam-language Indian short film, directed by Karthik Chintu (Writer/Director) for Production company Godjz & Prayag, starring Disney James, Praveen P Gopinath and Mamta Pillai. Mr.Saturday was released on 20th July 2015 and received positive reviews for its approach towards superstitious beliefs.
Plot[edit]
Mr.Saturday is the story about a Rajeev (Disney James), who has never found success in his 32 years of life. It has been prophesied by astrologers that he will remain unsuccessful because of the impact of the planet Saturn (Shani) in his horoscope. Continuous failures pushes Rajeev to the brink of insanity. One day while at a coffee shop, his father intimates him about a personality development trainer, who might help him to focus better. Though reluctant in the start, Rajeev finally agrees to meet the trainer. The mysterious trainer (Praveen p Gopinath) employs odd methods and a formula to solve the problems in Rajeev's life.

Mr.Saturday is the directorial debut of Karthik Chintu, which was shot in 7days. The post - production took over 15 days. The production was handled by Karthik himself under the banner of Godjz Entertainment and Rudra S Lal[8] under the banner Prayag Production.
