Music career[edit]
Mr Lengs started his musical journey in 2005 when he was in Arua, Uganda and recorded a number of hit songs which paved for him way in the music industry of Uganda (West Nile) and South Sudan. His break through song was "Nabiye[4]" literally translated " No" or "I don't want" in Kakwa Language which was the first song produced in Kakwa language and it was voted as the song of the Year. His second break through song which earned him a wider recognition in East Africa and won the East Africa Music Award under the Category of the Most Prominent Artist of the Year 2011 was "Gerezani[5]" a kiswahili world literally translated as "Prison" which his uncle Africano Mande supported and paid for the recording.
