Mrs.World

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

[1]Mrs World, a reality-based nationally broadcast program, features the World's accomplished beautiful married women of today in one spectacular competition on an international stage. Mrs. World was founded in 1984 by the founders of the Mrs. America competition[2], David Marmel. The winner of the annual Mrs. America competition represents USA to compete at Mrs. World. Each year, the location of Mrs. World is at a different country. Mrs. World is regarded as the most prestigious, and oldest, competition for married women in the world, with contestants representing 88 countries around the world. Mrs. World is a franchise system, with National Directors hailing from countries around the world.

In order to compete at Mrs.World, a delegate must first compete and win her country's national competition.

Mrs. World is a franchise system, headquartered in California, USA. It grants licenses to international directors from countries all over the world. In this aspect, Mrs. World distinguishes itself from its competitors, because it has legitimate national pageants in different countries, whereas many other systems of this genre do not, and only appoint delegates instead.

Because Mrs. World is truly an international system, its competition has an unscored "National Costume" segment where each delegate models a theme wear that represents her country's heritage. The delegates also compete in these scored judging criteria: Private Judges Interview (50%), Swimsuit (25%) and Evening Gown (25%).

Mrs. World winners travel around the globe to represent the organization and her platform for charitable causes.

In 2017, Mrs. World Competition was held in Johannesburg, South Africa. The winner was crowned as Mrs. World 2018, to tour the world for charity. The winner was Alice Lee Giannetta, representing Hong Kong. Prior to being Mrs. Hong Kong, Giannetta was Mrs. New York, the first Asian woman[3] to win this title.
