Biography

Muhammad Husain Mehanti was born in famous Memon Community Town "Bantva" Kathiawar, Gujrat India in 1946.

His family moved to Pakistan after Independence and settled in Kharadar Karachi where he attended school.

He was a brilliant student and acheived Top position throughout his student life.

Matric SSC Gold Medal Madrassa Islamia Secondry School Karachi.

Intermediate Gold Medal Sindh Muslim Commerce College.

B Com Gold Medal Sindh Muslim Commerce College 1968.

Chartered Accountant Gold Medal from Institue of Chartered Accountants Pakistan in 1970.

He was an active member of Islami Jamiat Taliba since his 9th class in school.

His first job was in PSO as Finance Manager.

In 1983 he was elected as Councillor of Jouria Bazar.

He worked as Chairman Finance committee KMC.

In 2002 he was elected as MNA from MMA platform.

A businessman by profession, he has travelled to U.K, France, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia and U.A.E.

Married, Muhammad Husain Mehanti is father of a son and four daughters. His hobbies include tourism and book reading.
