Early life and education[edit]

Muneer Mujahid Lyati was born in Mecca in Saudi Arabia. He graduated from the Jeddah College of Technology, earning a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a concentration on automotive engineering in 2016.[1][2]

After completing his college studies, he launched his career as a maintenance engineer at Al Hamrani-Fuchs Petroleum. He went on to work as a senior safety advisor with the multinational conglomerate Saudi Binladin Group before returning to his alma mater to work as a vocational trainer.

Innovation[edit]

Lyati is known for his application of Hybrid Bayesian Network (HBN) in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) as well as extensive research in manufacturing vehicle control.[3][4]
